ASU to Celebrate International Museum Day

Tue, 05/18/2010 - 09:00 On Tuesday, May 18, museums and galleries on Arizona State University's Tempe campus will join museums in more than 100 countries around the world to celebrate International Museum Day.
ASU will sponsor tours of seven museums and collections on May 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The schedule is:
- 9 a.m. - Center for Meteorite Studies, Bateman Physical Sciences Center, C Wing, Room 139.
- 10 a.m. - Lunar Recon Orbital Camera, Interdisciplinary A-Wing, Room A120C.
- 11 a.m.- Mars Space Flight, Moeur Building.
Noon - Museum of Anthropology.
- 1 p.m. - Arizona Historical Foundation/Archives and Special Collections - 4th Floor, Hayden Library.
- 2 p.m. - Archaeological Research Institute, 951 Tempe Center, room 165.
- 3 p.m. - ASU Art Museum, Nelson Fine Arts Center.
In addition, several other galleries at ASU will be open for visits.
An information table will be located behind Old Main from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
